What we collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.
Food data: The meals you log, including descriptions, photos, and estimated calories/macros. This is the core of what Capy does.
Usage data: How you interact with the app — features you use, errors you encounter — to help us improve.
Apple Health data: Only if you explicitly enable sync. We read/write calories, macros, and workout data at your request.
How we use your data

Your rights
Access & export: You can export all your data anytime from Settings.
Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data — we honor this within 30 days.
Correction: Update or correct any personal information in your profile.
Control: Toggle Apple Health sync, notifications, and other features on/off at any time.
Data security
We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard practices and regularly audit our systems.
Capy is built by a small team who also use the app. Your data is treated with the same care we'd want for our own.
